WORKSHOPS

LISA DOLPHIN: WITWER CHILDREN’S THERAPY CENTER – Helping your child operate at “Their” peak performance

Gross and fine motor skills, coordination, attention/focus, sleep, self-regulation, communication, learning, and social engagement are all important life skills necessary for each individual. In order for these critical skills to be functional and performing at an optimal level, one’s foundational neurosensory and neuro-motor system must be efficient and operating at peak performance. Learn how one’s ability to process sensory information including vision, auditory, movement, and many others impact a student’s classroom performance and overall quality of life. An overview of interventions available to help your child’s performance with academics, social interactions, self- regulation, and motor skills will be provided.

DR. JAN BEDELL: LITTLE GIANT STEPS – Hope for Change – Learning Difficulties, Dyslexia, ADD/ADHD

Do you suspect Dyslexia/ADD/ADHD or other learning labels? Labels typically come from a list of symptoms not a “disease” or “brain abnormality.” Dr. Jan will guide you through the root causes of symptomatic labels and give practical skills for training your child’s brain to eliminate the symptoms. Parents can be the key to breaking free of labels and reaching beyond their limiting, negative effects! Open a brilliant future for your child through understanding how the brain works . . . or why it doesn’t currently seem to be working so well. The goal of this workshop is to help you unlock your child’s full potential.

ESTHER WILKISON: ESTHERWILKISON.COM – Benefits of Nonstandard Learning

Learning challenges are often discussed as disabilities but there are different abilities God purposely designed in your child which are like vibrant colors God uses in painting His creative masterpieces. Learn and discover ideas that will help you prepare your child for all the works God preplanned for him/her to do.
